This Donation Policy describes the rules and conditions for making contributions to Serge Fiankan for Governor 2026 (“the Campaign”).
1. Contribution Eligibility
Contributors must be:
United States citizens or lawful permanent residents
At least 18 years old
Using their own funds and not funds provided by another person
Not making contributions on behalf of a corporation or entity barred by California law
2. Prohibited Contributions
The Campaign does not accept contributions from:
Registered lobbyists
Corporate PACs
Large corporations or entities seeking to influence policy
Foreign nationals without lawful permanent residency
Anonymous donors
Government contractors prohibited from contributing under California law
We may accept contributions from individuals and small, privately owned businesses.
3. Required Donor Information
California law requires campaigns to collect and report the following information for contributions of $100 or more:
Full name
Mailing address
Employer
Occupation
The Campaign may request this information for all contributions to maintain complete records.
4. Contribution Limits
Contribution limits follow California state law for gubernatorial candidates. Limits may change based on updated Fair Political Practices Commission guidelines.
5. Refund Policy
The Campaign may issue refunds for:
Duplicate contributions
Accidental contributions
Contributions received from prohibited sources
Contributions that exceed legal limits
Refund requests may be submitted to info@sf4gov.com.
6. Recurring Contributions
If the donation processor offers recurring contributions, donors may cancel future charges at any time through their donation receipt or processor account.
7. Security and Processing
All donations are processed through a third-party payment processor. The Campaign does not store credit card or bank information.
